My DIG Group did a photo walk this past week to West Fork in Oak Creek Canyon just north of Sedona AZ. I went with my friends leaving the house at 4:30 I picked up my friends Tanju, Karen and Gary. We had to leave so early because it was a 2 hour drive and you had to be there early to get one of the few parking places at the head of the trail. On the way into Sedona we saw some really great light and had to stop and take a few shots. We couldn’t linger too long because if we were late we would have to hike an extra mile to get to the trail from another parking spot north of the trailhead.
My friend Karen has a 100 mm Canon 2.8 Macro that she let me borrow. It is a wonderful lens and I had a lot of fun playing with it throughout the day.
After our trip to West Fork, we meandered down the road to Red Rock Crossing and took some of the iconic Red Rock Photos.
On the way out I took a Panorama of the area.
