After spending a couple days with my Brother in Law Harold at Show Low, Arizona we decided to visit The Theodore Roosevelt Dam on our way back to Phoenix. Roosevelt Lake Bridge Built in 1987-1990 is the longest two lane single-span, steel arch bridge in North America. Behind it is the Theodore Roosevelt Dam that was started in 1906 and completed in 1911. One of the major sources of water for the Phoenix area it was expanded in 1989. You can follow this link to read more about this great Arizona story. It is a pretty good trek to get there and explore but if you live in Arizona it is worth the trip.
