Well it has been a while since my last post. It has been a busy summer with quite a bit of photography. This past spring I started doing some portraits work. I have always thought that everyone should have a really good photo of themselves showing who they are. I think what draws me in is getting a natural expression rather than the “deer in the headlights” look we get when we are placed in front of a camera. Getting the subject to relax while having some fun is the best part.
Like any discipline, there is a lot to learn and room for improvement. I’ve been getting someone in front of my camera every week to pose while I learn the technical side or portrait work such as lighting, posing, then post processing work adds polish. It has been a blast! So if you would like to join in the fun, let me know.
