Birding in Arizona

Now that winter is coming to Arizona and the temperature is dropping, we are expecting a high of 75˚ today. It is time for the birds to return to Arizona. What makes it special is we don’t have to drive 2 to 3 hours to get something good to photograph. My favorite place is the Gilbert Water Ranch but there are many other spots around the valley that have ponds which attract all kinds of birds. In my back yard we have a couple of Humming Bird feeders that give me some good subjects to practice on.

  1. Oh I had such fun putting comments with these images. The first bird is yelling, “Wheeeeeeeee!” Then there is the judge . . . glad someone is capturing those birds. Not me!! Too tough!!

As good a photographer as you are, no problem.
