According to most cowboys this is the most physically demanding of all the rodeo events. The cowboy has to stay on the horse for eight seconds and is judged by the performance of the rider and the horse. It is a tribute to their athleticism that they can stay on the horse as long as they do.

I don’t think I have ever, ever said “Ouch!, Yikes. Oh no! Dang that hurt!” so many times in a two minute period. And then I went back and looked at it again. You got some great shots!!
It has to be pretty painful for all involved.
