Another Year

I made 19 posts in 2014. So here we are again starting another year with New Resolutions and New ideas how to live my life. I always liked to start out the year with some reasonable and some not so reasonable goals. Because this blog is mostly about my photography here are some of my thoughts on how I can take better photos. There are four major areas of photography. #1 learning your equipment. I got myself a new 7D MKII this past fall, so my 1st goal is to become more proficient with this new tool, along with my lighting equipment, filters etc. #2 would be choosing subjects that matter. A major part of that is access, National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson said “If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff.” I need to find more interesting stuff. If anyone has any good ideas, pass them along. #3 Developing the photos. This is a love hate thing for me as it is fun to do but there are so many photos I sometimes don’t know where to start. #4 Publish, I have to get more proficient at updating my blog. I’ve been pretty good at getting out and shooting but not so good at getting the photos off my hard drive and out in the public for people to see. So I hope to be publishing more. 

So here we go again.  I’ll start off with a couple car shows that were held here in Phoenix. Barrett Jackson and the RM Auction at the Biltmore.
