This past month I got to take a my 1st trip to Yosemite National Park with my son Scott. California is going through a major drought so you would think we would have sunny skies and some good sunrise and sunsets. It didn’t work out that way as we had cloudy, rainy weather. President Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant Act in 1864 and it became a national park 8 years later, making it our 1st National Park and possibly the best.
