With all the rain we had this winter the desert has begun the annual procession of brittle bush and cactus flowers. I was recently in the spectacular setting of Hewitt Canyon and was able to capture some of its color against the backdrop of canyon walls and magnificent spires. There are over 450 different flowers that bloom in the Sonoran Desert and I hope to capture some of it in the next few weeks now that I can get to the more remote areas with my Tacoma.
Enjoy
Gorgeous captures of God’s creation, John! Love them all! Since our Sonoran Desert wilderness is only this green and colorful for only a few months of the year, your images of the spring beauty will remain forever!
Thanks Kati. As you know the desert is really pretty this time of year.
John, your photos are really beautiful ! It had to be breathtaking to actually be there. I guess we should come visit in the spring !
You know we always have room and would have a great time.
THANKS for the beautiful pictures! I don’t have much time, or will in the near future, to go out on any photo shoots. We finally have our puppy, Dakota, who is about 9 weeks old now. She’s more than a hand full!!! Please keep me updated on things.

Glad to hear you got your wolf. Enjoy and hope you get out shooting again soon.
