LK 2:15-20 When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another,
“Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place,
which the Lord has made known to us.” So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger.
When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child.
All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds.
And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.
Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them.
Merry Christmas everyone.
A couple weeks ago I was T Boned at a four way stop sign about a mile from my house. They say most accidents happen close to home, well this guy hit me – Name withheld to protect the guilty – when he blew through a stop sign hitting me on the drivers side of my vehicle. We were both fortunate to get out alive but my Rav 4 didn’t fare as well as it was totaled. So not one to let a disaster go to waste I went out and got my dream vehicle. A Tacoma Sport 4×4. Ever since coming to Arizona I had always longed to be able to get out into the desert and see all the real beauty that our state has to offer. Up until now the only way to do that was to hike to remote sites. Although this is good for my health and I will continue to hike when I can, I could only see a few places and it took lots of time. Now I get to cover lots of ground and see it all. My friend Fr. Steve got a Tacoma a year or so ago and when he heard I got mine he invited me to join him on my maiden voyage. We headed to the 4 Peaks trail going to Roosevelt Lake and coming back to Phoenix via of the Apache trail. The truck did very well handling all the rough terrain with ease.
Enjoy
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you & your family John!!!
